Louise Watson

Classes: Saturday 9 - 12 pm

Louise has been a potter for over 30 years and has in that time experimented with hand-building, wheel-throwing, firing and glazing. She loves exploring all the techniques clay can offer and particularly enjoy the fact that there is always more to learn. If she hasn’t done it before, she is ready to try it. Her main interest is in learning continuously and sharing this.

Louise teaches on a Saturday morning at our beautiful studio.

"My classes teach beginners throwing and hand-building and, as the students become more experienced, I like to mentor their creative ideas. I am particularly keen to strengthen the students' skills in the glazing field, loading kilns and firing. I also demonstrate a different surface decoration technique every term."
